Uninstalling Comodo Dragon

To uninstall Comodo Dragon

• Click Start > Settings > Control Panel

• In the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs

• In the list of currently installed programs, click Comodo Dragon

• Click the 'Change/Remove' button.

Or

• Click Start > All Programs > Comodo > Dragon > Change or Uninstall.

 

The Uninstall dialog will be displayed.

 

The screen displays the selection of the folder in your hard drive from which Comodo Dragon is uninstalled.

• Remove user profile - By, default, you will be provided a choice to save your Dragon profile data in your computer. If you plan to install Dragon again at a later time, the new browser will use this profile data such as bookmarks, history etc., and your settings to configure the browser. If not, checkbox 'Remove User Profile'.

If you have chosen to install System-Wide Comodo SecureDNS by selecting the option 'I would like to use Comodo SecureDNS Servers (with all applications)' in step 4 during installation, the modified DNS settings in your computer will not be reverted on selecting this option, enabling you to continue using Comodo SecureDNS services. If you want to revert the DNS server IP address to your previous settings you need to manually change it in the 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties' dialog accessible by clicking Start  > Control Panel > Network Connections > selected network > Properties > Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) > Properties.

• Set as default browser - If Comodo Dragon is the default browser on your computer, you will be provided with the choice of setting any one of the other browsers installed on your computer as default browser, replacing Comodo Dragon after its uninstallation.

• Click the drop-down arrow beside Set as default browser and select the browser to be set as default browser

Note: The checkbox 'Set as default browser' will appear only if Comodo Dragon is set as default browser in your computer.

 

• Click Uninstall to commence the uninstallation.

The uninstallation progress will be displayed...

 

...and on completion, the 'Finish' dialog will be displayed.

 

• Click 'Finish' to complete the uninstallation process.

• The Comodo feedback web page will appear.
