Email Protection Quarantine Report — End-User
This page explains the steps to be followed when an Quarantine report is received to the end user.
1. Open the quarantine report email
- Subject will typically mention “Quarantine Report” or “Spam Summary.”
- Check that it’s from your organization’s legitimate Email Protection notifier (when in doubt, ask IT).
2. Review the list of held emails
- Each quarantined message will show the sender, subject, and action links.
3. Choose the right action for each message
- 'Deliver'→ Delivers just this message to your inbox.
- 'Allow' → Delivers this message and trusts the sender for next time (adds to your Allow List).
- 'Delete' → Stops future messages from this sender (adds to your Block List or removes this item).
4. Verify delivery
- Released emails usually arrive within a minute.
- If you don’t see it, check Junk/Spam or Other/Focused tabs, then search your mailbox.
5. Repeat for other items in the report
- Use Allow trusted, recurring senders (partners, invoices, ticketing systems).
- Use Delete for obvious spam or unwanted senders.
6. Keep safe
- If an item looks suspicious, don’t click links or open attachments. When unsure, ask IT.
- Watch for look-alike domains (e.g., examp1e.com vs example.com).
7. If links don’t work
- Older reports can expire. Use your most recent quarantine report email.
- Still stuck? Contact IT to check your report schedule or delivery logs.

Choose how often you want to receive quarantine reports (daily, weekdays, weekly on Friday, monthly, or never). - Include the following items in the report
Decide whether reports show all quarantined items or only new items since the last report.
- To view your entire quarantine inbox or manage your preferences
Opens your quarantine portal, where you can review all quarantined emails and adjust settings.
- Send me a new report now containing
Instantly generate a fresh quarantine report with either all quarantined items or just new items since your last report.
- To delete all of the messages
Permanently removes all quarantined emails in one click.
- Classify marketing emails as Spam
Lets you enable or disable automatic classification of marketing/promotional emails as spam.
