DLP Tasks - Introduction
Click 'Tasks' > 'DLP Tasks'
- Data loss prevention scans let you identify documents which contain confidential information. For example, documents which contain credit card numbers, social security numbers, bank account numbers etc.
- DLP scans are run by selecting the DLP discovery rules active on your device
- Each rule defines the areas to scan, the type of information to search for, and the action to take on discovered files.
- The 'DLP Tasks' area lets you run on-demand DLP discovery scans and view the files quarantined by DLP rules.
