Filter Entries

 

The ‘Filter Entries’ feature allows users to create custom scan and clean operations by adding or removing scanned elements. This feature is most suitable for advanced users with a working knowledge of the registry, that wish to scan and clean specific areas.

 

The Filtered Entries list can be:

  • Scanned in addition to the areas selected in the main pane.

  • Used to perform a targeted scan on certain keys.

To add a new filter entry to your Registry Cleaner profile

 

  1. Choose a Registry Cleaner profile.

  2. Click on Down Arrow button.

  3. Click on Down Arrow button from Filter Entries.

  4. In the dialog that appears, select the registry key name, from the Registry tree that you want to add.



  1. Click on Add button.

  2. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add more entries

  3. To Save click Apply.

 

Filter Entries - buttons

Menu Element

Element Icon

Description

Expand

Enables the user to open the selected tab

Shrink

Enables the user to close the current open tab

Add

Enables the user to add a new registry key

Remove

Enables the user to remove an existing registry key

 

  • To remove a registry key from the Filter Entries list, simply select the key name from the right side pane and click on the Remove button.
