Appendix 3 - Behavior of Actions When No User is Logged in

Certain Actions may not execute successfully is there is no user currently logged in to the target endpoint. This appendix contains a table that explains which Actions require a user to be logged in and the error messages produced if this is not the case.

 Note: The table assumes the following conditions are true:

  •  The machine is displayed as 'Green' in the CESM interface;
  •  Agent is installed on the target endpoint;

  • Endpoint is powered on;

  • No internal network connection problems.
  • No user is currently logged on to the endpoint.
