Device Control
Enable Device Control - Enable the external device control feature.
This option blocks devices of a client computer from accessing, such as USB drives, Bluetooth devices, printers, and serial and parallel ports. This is useful if you want to configure external device control settings for a profile during its creation and enable it at a later time.
Note: Managed Endpoints - Device Control settings should be configured in the Xcitium Enterprise profile
Access the Device Control Settings
- Open Xcitium Client Security
- Click 'More' > 'Preferences' > 'Device Control'
The settings screen opens:
The external devices which are added from Xcitium Enterprise profile can be seen as
Category : Contains Hardware Type and Name
Description : Contains Class, Subclass value and protocol, if any
