Protect Your Mobile Devices

This guide explains the invitation flow behind 'Configure' > 'Objects' > 'Mobile Devices'. Mobile users are protected by a VPN profile sent to their email address. It is a single page rather than a stepped walkthrough.

You can learn which invitation mode to choose and how to read the status of each invited user.

Choose a mode before you send the invitation

Before you send an invitation, choose 'VPN' or 'VPN + Mobile Agent'.

• 'VPN + Mobile Agent' - the invitation includes links to the Secure Internet Gateway mobile apps on Play Store and App Store, and instructions on how to activate the apps to be protected by Secure Internet Gateway.
  
  
• 'VPN' - the invitation sends only the Secure Internet Gateway VPN profile, which should be hosted via a third-party VPN application. Choose this if you already use a VPN application on your mobile devices.

Send an invitation

1. Click 'Configure' > 'Objects' > 'Mobile Devices'.
   
   
2. Click 'Add New Mobile Device'.
   
   
3. Type the email addresses of your mobile users, separated by commas.
   
   
4. Select 'VPN' or 'VPN + Mobile Agent'.
   
   
5. Click 'Add'.

Tip: You can send invitations to more than one account at once by separating the addresses with a comma. Send an invitation to your own account first to see the instructions your mobile users will receive, so you can guide them through the steps.

You will receive 'Success' for each email account that receives the invitation for the first time. You will see 'Already Exists' when an invitation is sent to an email account a second time.
