Enable / Disable Malware Domain Filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)
Comodo Secure DNS helps users stay safe while browsing online. The malware domain filter will block content if:
- The website contains prohibited content
- The website has been reported as fraudulent (it is attempting to collect your personal information by pretending to be a legitimate site).
- The website illegal share copyrighted software or media.
About Comodo Secure DNS
- If enabled, Dragon uses Comodo Secure DNS instead of the DNS servers provided by your ISP. This improves the speed at which your browser connects to websites.
- Comodo Dragon will also use Comodo Secure DNS for malware domain filtering. This applies whether you picked the '...(for all applications)' or the '...(in Dragon only)' option.
Disable malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)
- Click the menu button at top-right
- Select 'Settings' > scroll down and click 'Advanced'
- Click the 'Privacy and security' > Deselect 'Enable malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS)'
- Restart
