Update plug-ins

Plug-in - a piece of software which enhances another software application, processes type of web content like Windows Media Files, Flash etc. Unfortunately, the plug-ins are not updated automatically and over a period of time get outdated as newer versions are released. The new versions of plug-ins may have better security features than the older versions – an important reason to keep your plug-ins updated to avoid potential security vulnerability.

Comodo Dragon automatically detects plug-in that is not up-to-date with security vulnerability and alerts you with a message below the address bar that the plug-in has been blocked.

  • Click 'Update plug-in' in the message to install the latest version of the plug-in.

  • Click 'Run this time' in the message to run the current plug-in without upgrading though this not desirable.
