Viewing and Stopping Background Pages and Applications

Comodo Dragon allows to see which background pages are running and how much resources they are using. This can help you manage and optimize resource usage by closing pages that you now longer require.

Tip: Background Pages -  Lists those pages that are open in the background (and may not be visible to you). Background applications - Applications that can keep running even after you close the last window of browser.

 

• Click the Comodo Dragon  icon  located at the top-left corner.
  

• Select Tools -> Task manager.

All applications and extensions with background pages will be highlighted. For more details about task manager, please see 'Viewing task manager from Comodo Dragon'.

 

• Click 'End process' button from the list to stop any of these items.

• Select 'Exit' from the wrench  menu to close the Comodo Dragon, when background applications are running.
