Buy Product Licenses
- The 'Purchase Licenses' screen shows licenses which you can purchase and resell to your customers.
- You can use your account funds to purchase a license. You can instantly top-up your account using a credit or debit card.
- You can only authorize customer orders if you have sufficient funds for the purchase.
- Funds are not withdrawn from your account until you have personally authorized the sale.
Steps to Purchase Licenses
- Login to your account at https://cam.xcitium.com
- Click 'Reseller Portal' in the left-menu or on the home screen
- Click the 'Purchase Licenses' tile
- Select a product and plan from those available on the left. Use the search box to find a specific product.
Configure Your Purchase
Configure your purchase in the right-hand pane. Choose the type, quantity and term of license you wish to resell. The total price will be calculated automatically.
- Term – Select the license period (Fixed, Months, or Years)
- External Order Number (optional) - Enter the purchase identifier from your own management systems. This entry is for your own reference
- Company (optional) - If relevant to your setup, choose the distributor for whom you are making this order. See 'Manage Distributions' if you want further help with this.
- Renew automatically - Auto-renew this license when it expires. Payment is deducted from your account balance.
- Endpoints – Enter the number of licenses you want to purchase.
- Total Amount – Calculated automatically according to your input.
Purchase Mode (New feature)
Select how you want to pay for this license purchase. This option is available for partners enrolled in the Xcitium Partner Growth Program. Click here for more information about the program.
Note: The Purchase Mode section allows you to use your earned bonuses from the Xcitium Partner Growth Program to purchase licenses. Your available balances are displayed at the top of the screen.
Available Purchase Modes:
1. CSS BALANCE ONLY(Default)
Uses only your CSS Reseller Balance to purchase the license. This is the standard payment method and is selected by default.
- Entire purchase amount is deducted from your CSS Reseller Balance
- If insufficient CSS balance, you will need to top-up using credit card or other payment methods
2. BONUS BALANCE ONLY
- Entire purchase amount is deducted from your Bonus Balance
- If insufficient Bonus balance, you will need to pay via credit card, purchase order, or top-up your CSS balance
- Bonus balance is earned through the Partner Growth Program based on your sales performance
3. BONUS + CSS BALANCE
Combines both your CSS Reseller Balance and Bonus Balance to complete the purchase. When you select this mode, you can choose one of three payment allocation options:
- CSS First: Uses your CSS Reseller Balance first. If CSS balance is insufficient, the remaining amount is deducted from your Bonus Balance.
- Split Evenly: Divides the total purchase amount equally (50/50) between your CSS Reseller Balance and Bonus Balance.
- Bonus First: Uses your Bonus Balance first. If Bonus balance is insufficient, the remaining amount is deducted from your CSS Reseller Balance.
Important: If the combined balances are insufficient to complete the purchase, you will be prompted to pay the remaining amount via credit card, purchase order, or other available payment methods.
How to Use Purchase Mode:
1. Review your available CSS Reseller Balance and Bonus Balance displayed at the top of the screen
2. Select your desired Purchase Mode by clicking one of the three mode buttons
3. If you selected "BONUS + CSS BALANCE", choose your preferred allocation method (CSS First, Split Evenly, or Bonus First)
4. Review the amounts that will be deducted from each balance in the breakdown display
5. Proceed with your purchase by clicking the 'Purchase' button
Partner Growth Program:
To earn Bonus Balance and access these payment options, ensure you are enrolled in the Xcitium Partner Growth Program. Contact your account manager or visit the Partner Portal for enrollment details. Learn more about the program. - Entire purchase amount is deducted from your CSS Reseller Balance
- Active license instantly - Will enable the license for your customer immediately after the purchase is complete. You will have to enter your customer's details. If you disable this option then you need to manually activate the license after purchase.
Complete Your Purchase
- Click 'Purchase'
- If you do not have sufficient funds in your selected payment method, you can instantly deposit money via credit/debit card or use an alternative payment method.
After Purchase
You will see a summary of your order with the following details:
- Xcitium Order Number
- Product Name
- Term
- Price
- Endpoints
- License Key
- Total Price
- Click the button in the 'Actions' column to copy the activation link or activate the license.
