View and Stop Background Pages and Applications



Comodo Dragon lets you see which background pages are running and how much resources they are using. This is useful when you manage and optimize resource usage by closing pages that you no longer require.


Tip:
  • Background Pages -  Web pages that are opened in the background (and may not be visible to you).
  • Background applications - Applications that can keep running even after you close the browser.
 
  • Click the menu button  located in the top-right corner.
  • Select 'More tools' > 'Task manager'.
  • The first column lists items that are active such as extension, plugins and tabs. Look for items that are labeled as 'Background page'
  • Select a task and click the 'End process' button to stop a task.
  • Select 'Exit' from to close Comodo Dragon when background applications are running.
