Use the Address Bar (Omnibox)
The address
bar in Comodo Dragon also serves as a search box. This allows you to
search and
enter web addresses in the address bar. Dragon uses the default
search engine for searches. See 'Manage
Your Search Engines' for more details.
Search for web pages and visit web sites
- Type your search term in the address bar.
- Press 'Enter' to see the results from your default search engine
- To visit a site, type its web address into the omnibox then press 'Enter'.
Search for applications, bookmarks, browsing history and related items
Comodo Dragon automatically shows you suggestions as you type your search term. If enabled, Comodo Dragon can also use predictions from the web.
The omnibox contains the following items:
- - Bookmark the currently displayed page. If this icon is yellow it means the page is already bookmarked. See Manage Bookmarks to learn more about managing bookmarks.
- - The search icon appears next to searches, including related searches if you have the prediction service turned on.
- - The site information icon on the left of address bar indicates the SSL certificate status of the website. See 'Website Security Indicators' for more details.
